The Key Laboratory of Life Process and Environmental Analysis Science was approved as the Key Laboratory of Guangxi Universities in April 2001. The Department has a teaching and research team of nearly 30 people, including 6 doctors, 3 professors, 1 researcher, 14 associate professors and other associate professors. The research work of this laboratory has its own characteristics. Its research direction is the frontier subject of life sciences, Environmental Sciences and nanomaterials sciences. A series of excellent research results have been obtained in the fields of capillary electrophoresis, resonance scattering analysis of nanoparticle-biomolecule system, atomic emission spectroscopy and hyphenated techniques and their applications in morphological analysis, interaction between drugs and bioactive molecules, separation and enrichment of precious metals, flow injection analysis and electrochemical analysis of neurotransmitters. The laboratory has a lively academic atmosphere and has successfully hosted the 8th China Chemical Society Symposium on the Application of Multiple Complexes and the 8th China Chemical Society Annual Conference on Analytical Chemistry.
